Hello! and thanks for stopping by to take a look at my work.
I am a Portrait and Wedding Photographer based in the sunny Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. I shoot both locally, and on Waiheke Island ( my old stomping ground :) and am also available across NZ and the Pacific .. ( and can be lured further afield ).
I am a kiwi gal, an ex commercial Interior designer ( so i love it when architecture & people fill my frame), a very keen traveller, lover of the great outdoors and am partial to pina coladas and walks in the rain (ok, that parts not true.. although pina coladas are kinda ok ...sometimes ).
You'll be pleased to know i have studied Professional Photography during my Design degree at Unitec and also a Post Grad level at the London College of Printing. To date clients have included London Design agencies, Brighton & Hove mag UK, Viva mag, NZ House & Garden, and many many couples over the years.
It feels an honour to document a couples connection, to be let into their world for a one of the most important days of their lives, and along the way i meet many fabulous people. I get to create work that resonates with a couple and will also be seen by future generations and that’s a very meaningful role.
I love to capture an authentic representation of the day as it unfolds: from the details, the quiet unguarded moments in between the big moments, and also the emotions of you and the people that have come to celebrate with you. To this end I like to shoot in a relaxed, documentary way, but i will also gently guide / direct / but not pose (yuk) some of the bridal shoot when needed ( so you don't feel awkward ).
My purpose is to make images that will take you back to those authentic moments and how you felt.
When i am not photographing weddings i like to capture people who have a story to tell, spaces & places that inspire me, document families - including my own, and shoot business brand stories.
Feel free to email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org or phone me on: 021 885360, we can also chat via Facetime or meet up for a coffee if local.
I look forward to hearing more about you !
