Dominque & Simon The Venue Waiheke
Dominique & Simon's wedding day began with a swim for the guys then after preparations a "first look" before their beach ceremony on Onetangi beach.
Having a First look gave D & S a chance of an intimate moment and some photos before the ceremony and then their day swept them away.
The ceremony was at the quiet end of Onetangi beach, a spot that was "bagsied" early in the day by the bestmen and was the perfect setting, they were super lucky as the rain made an appearance just at the end of the service. The guests then strolled along to The Venue whilst we got a few more photos in a beautifully restored local church.
Back to "The Venue" for the reception who as always did a fabulous feast, and into the night they celebrated with speeches, cake and dancing in the courtyard.
Some stand out moments for me were the fact that the bridal parties were all made up of the couples siblings, the neices & nephews who made up the cute flower girls and the babes in arms, and the two very cool muscle cars... the guys rode in the one, the girls in the other to the first look, then they swopped cars to go to the ceremony.
Dom & Simon had also hand written notes to each and every guest ! on the back of their place cards, so thoughful and it is obvious they are going to have a whole lot of fun in their future together.
